Since we began the 33 JordynStrong Foundation in 2018, it has been one of our primary goals to offer three $5,000 scholarships to deserving students. Our scholarships were designed with Jordyn in mind as she LOVED to learn and could not wait for the opportunity to go to college. In 2022, we were able to introduce a 4th award, in the amount of $2,500, to another deserving student. And in 2023, the year Jordyn would graduate from Jackson High School (Massillon, OH), we added a 5th scholarship, to be awarded to a graduating senior/seniors for a total award to be $3,300 based on applications and our scholarship committee's recommendation.
Jordyn was a student athlete and knew that the discipline it takes to play at a high level while maintaining and exceeding educational goals is both very demanding and very rewarding. Her intentions, as of eighth grade, were to be an engineer and a writer. It always disappointed her that women in engineering were a rarity and that only made her want it more. And of course, we had hoped to be able to celebrate Jordyn’s survivorship… the day she would move into her college dorm would be in the same month of celebrating 3 years in remission. It is important to us that these scholarships, representing Jordyn in a very meaningful way, are able to make an impact on the student recipients and help them realize their potential in higher education. |

It has pushed her to achieve many goals in life. Her ultimate goal is to become a pediatric oncologist and help save children's lives.
