5th Annual Blackbird Ball
Each year we try to mix things up and provide our guests a fun experience that leaves them talking. Last year is going to be REALLY tough to top as our '80s Prom at RShea Brewing in Downtown Akron was pretty legendary. #IYKYK However you know we don't back down from a challenge.
This year, we invaded the MAPS Air Museum with our brand of a good time and hosting a CASINO NIGHT a la OLD VEGAS. Think Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack... think Elvis... think an elevated classic... It was a blast. Casino games were run by professionals and offered options from Black Jack to Poker to Roulette and Craps... we had something for everyone. And if Casino Games aren't your speed, DJ Nikolina, a Blackbird Ball staple, delivered fun dance music all evening long and we saw some outstanding dance moves. We had some amazing food from some of the highest recommended food trucks in the area and an open bar. A Blackbird Ball regular, Courtney's Cupcakes was our Dessert provider again and we were blown away with what she came up with this year. Our traditional midnight snack took a bit of a turn and was a delicious quarter pound cookie from Completely Cookied in a convenient to-go box for the ride home or the next morning. It was a wonderful night with wonderful people. We hope you will join us next year as we return to MAPS Air Museum for the 6th Annual Blackbird Ball on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
See you there.
Providing help and hope to teens diagnosed with cancer, and their families.
